Venus Flytrap (Free verse) by herbgirlofbirkenau
In the corner of my mind, It's midnight and you're climbing the stairs- reaching the top... pacify your hunger just a little bite... a feed so undeniable. There are so many things I cannot give to you- ...time gets in the way. I just won't set you down... you'll have to runaway... this venus flytrap bleeding soul clings on to its sour prey... Just a little taste of madness Give in, and I'll blur away. I'm drowning, drowning- deep sea swimming... just this once, be mine today. something about your voice makes me dizzy dizzy i want to coat you in honey and just watch you glisten until you run away... don't run away. let me go swimming, deep sea swimming... let me be your prey.
