Were he a devil, he'd not believe in himself In that, there's as much change on a broke man's shelf The pictures of him show more than he sees Something there, something to behold But there's nothing here to hold A delicate man, broken by breeze If only he knew, if only he saw Were his eyes open, he'd stand in awe
