Merry-Go-Round (Lyric) by Miggy
The week passes by without notice Cause I thought time stops just seeing your there Your presence here makes my joy flourish Although it’s not like you would care…about it (Bridge) And yet you keep trying to be right here with me But when we get too close you bail out as I see (Chorus) Every time you turn around The background would just blur And once I hear your sweet sound Backdrop lyrics start to slur Just like on the merry-go-round Our past has been anything but original No one would know by the way we hold hands We say as friends that our relationship is general Although they couldn’t understand…if it’s even legit (Bridge) (Chorus) And like the merry-go-round We spin in circles but still stay in place Getting a kick of you being here with me (Chorus/Ending)

Up the ladder: Of Life
Down the ladder: Soft Beak; Hard lotion

Right off I don't like "passes by" - is there some other way to let me know you like being around this person?

Some way to express that frustration when they bail so I can feel it instead of acknowledging it?

Maybe it being a lyric gets you off the hook from being poetic? I hope not.
