Constancy

The glowing sphere quietly ascends breathing radiant life into all in its pathway. The talisman of our time, of all time Its healing golden fingers assiduously ferret out the pain of the bruised and battered Inculcating light and energy, breathing its life force into its withered hosts Mankind, so very privileged to be both witness and recipients to this ceaseless miracle of nature, this tireless provider to our thankless spirit Drifting far off to now converge on the horizon, To palpate the sanctity of this waning light and to know with certainty That once again the sun will return to dance in our souls Alas, serenity!
