Thought Disrupts a Silence (Other) by Staika
The silence surrounding me is amplified not broken by the incessant hum of my computer's fan Like a bird accentuating the tranquility of prairies by gliding softly across a cloudless morning sky Sometimes my mind asks if my computer gives me wings to cross into the wider world Or if it leaves me looking at birds flying towards distant horizons while sitting idle myself

Up the ladder: Constancy
Down the ladder: Castle of Sand

this also is very cool. love the sentiment and undertone of blind panic inherrant in life passing by. you have a talent far exceeding most of the drearily self-obsessed dross on these pages.
