dying love (Free verse) by singinkygal
One day I loved you, the next it was gone I used to love your company now I just want to be alone I used to be attentive and hang on to every word now I find myself tuning you out and have barely listened to or heard your I love yous your I need yous How do I tell you what you already know you've noticed a change in me you told me so I'm sorry, I can't tell you why All I know is I have to say good bye Take care have a wonderful life sounds so cold those words can cut like a knife I do wish you well and though we'll be apart I will cherish the short time you held my heart. I did love you one day until it was gone

Up the ladder: Numbers add to nothing
Down the ladder: REM Sleep

Needs to stand out from this very crowded "lost love" room.
