Dying Harvest (Free verse) by Richard
How will the soft flawless Rose Smell like fragrant Summer Now that this season of sad Love is over A soft whisper to obey never lied, Whereas the pure angel spouted abuse We burn in need- Yet our tragic flame is only a tendril Like a cold kiss from a shadowy face. Remember my broken smile and kiss me. The dream of Love lingers with morning Then with day are the heart and romance suffocated Bruised- Love could not last

Down the ladder: wolves
