Burn (Free verse) by XpunkXgirlX
My wrists burn as my tears fall into my wounds, Bleeding profusely into you, I bleed red from pain and heartache, You bleed black from lies and hate, I tried to save you from the demons inside, As I fought you poured into me all your lies, You have hurt me and now I bleed through, I tried to hold onto you, You once kept me afloat, Now I drown in all the lies you told, Every time you speak you deceive me, Every time you look at me you take another part of me, I've tried to forgive and forget, I just can't let you hurt me again, Take what's left of me and let me breathe again.

wow I could have related to this poem about two years ago but then I grew up and found out that sliding a knive across your arms is not the best way to feel sorry for yourself but anyway good poem.

wow, in the course of this pome you slit your wrists, drown, bleed to death, and are apparently chopped up into pieces.

How will you ever recover from such dire abuse in time to post another pome next week?

Recovering would take weeks, if not months, of hospitalization. So if we see another post in the next couple of weeks we'll all know the pome was bullshit hyperbole.
