If Words Could Explain... (Free verse) by Blindpoetry
We are alone Listening to the radio at the pub We’re banging our heads Never worried about losing a beat We’ve listened to this song many times before Steer away from the darkening hall It’s to dark to see; stay in the light room We now laugh We’re laughing so hard that we are crying Let our smiles drain the tears of joy Let us sit on the branch The tree is too high so we’ll take the low one We’ll eat the cookies that it grows To keep us hyper Or laziness will make us fall You’re like a jelly donut You look so good But the inside is better The delicious taste takes my breathe away Now I must dance for air

Up the ladder: Temporary moments
Down the ladder: Swiftly
