Another Window (Free verse) by nightii
Windows open to the outside world. Talking, flirting sharing your soul with strangers, ten thousand miles away. Faces unknown, voices unheard. Always there, always aware, waiting for a word, closer than loved ones, best friends, until - Another window opens...

Up the ladder: love: siamese verse 1
Down the ladder: The Darkness of Eternity

On first reading this I dismissed it as the kind of sloppy, sentimental tosh that really builds up a rage in me, but then on reading it again I changed my mind. An interesting take on the world of internet chatrooms? Good final line with reference to the start of the poem. Have 7, Sir.

I agree, this is pleasingly sardonic.
