She peers at the world outside
A world so vibrant and alive
The complete opposite of how she felt inside
Faded memories flood her mind
Memories the man left behind
Tightly she closes her eyes
Trying to erase the pictures in her mind
But the memories play on and on
Oh, when would she ever learn to move on?
