Lonely tears On desert sand Clinging on hopelessly To life's little hand The room may be full But I'm all alone Calling out desperately But no body's home Hear me speak And hear me cry Before the tear drops Stop and dry Silent help Can't you see? The holes in the plan Make me incomplete Lonely tears On the moon Losing reality And losing it soon Mitus touched things Turned them to gold I turn to sadness All that I hold Bless me, o Lord It's hard to breathe Losing my sight Ready to leave Too afraid to die Even more afraid to live Why must I suffer? Something's got to give Lonely tears On a summer day If you can't hear me now I'm afraid it's too late...

omigod this is the best pome I've read on this site since I came here. I spewed bavarian beer and veggie weiners all over my keyboard. Omigod, my gut hurts. I can't breathe. Whew.

sigh...parts are good, and with some cleaning up maybe this could be something better...the last four lines were the worst.
