My Best Friend (Free verse) by nicole081083
Best friends, nothing less, nothing more Even though you don't know how much I adore Your eyes, your lips, and your beautiful smile Every moment I spend with you, you make it worthwhile Sometimes I get lost in your amazing voice Call it an obsession, infatuation, whatever I have no choice But to hold these feelings back Or else this train may derail from this track This friendship means a lot to me So I'll keep waiting patiently For these feelings to go away I don't really know what else to say I don't want to lose you as my best friend Because you are a phase I never want to end
