The Man with the Fiberglass Head (Free verse) by MacFrantic
Who is the man with the fiberglass head? Whose heart is gold Whose soul is dead The scrambled eggs inside his skull Make his fiberglass life so helplessly dull He has no say in what goes down Below the sky Above the ground I loathe this man with limbs of tin Yet he is me beneath my skin

Up the ladder: Simply beautiful

Ever heard that Kinks song, 'Plastic Man'? This put me in mind of it.
Great poem.
