Passing of Wind (Free verse) by Goad
(dedicated to electroman1979) What do you feel when someone dies? Does your stomach squirm, your gorge rise? Do you wipe sweating palms on tense thighs? As the rumbling noxious gases rise? From the lost moments, the little lies That you'll never now metabolize Or should we feel nothing when we sever ties? 'Tis true it's good to weep and fart When those most dear from us depart They take from us so great a part A treasure like the dearest art Moments painted in our heart. While to dust and gases they compart. But e'en the best of friends must part. But we dare not mourn too long in gloom Or too long haunt a dead one's room Be quick with mop, quick with broom Quick your life to re-assume Lest from their graves a foul smell bloom For as they're eaten by worm and 'shroom They fart like pigs within the tomb.

omigod, I swear to god I was completely oblivious to the homosexual overtones of this pome. That's so cool. It's so blatant, now that you mention it. It makes it an even better, uh, tribute to electroman1979.
