Emotions and the night

The night always smells spicy and sweet We carefully find flaws in its beauty And joyfully forget, how fragile we all are Our eyes can not see beyond the light and so we either scheme or dream, of what may or may not be there Above, left and right, the stars shine they are enormous suns, or so they tell us but all we see, are unknown patterns of light We do not feel the emotions of the night Too complex to fully understand, we realise the waste And we are reminded, that strangers have feelings too

Other than that a well ordered poem and a killer last line.
