Friday afternoon Zoo (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
Every friday we gather, like chipmunks we chatter we honk like geese, rattle like snake tails and bleat like sheep. Why do we not hunker in our nests like little birds do, and flow easy like the harvest wheat.

Up the ladder: DEATH
Down the ladder: The Thinker

Perhaps because we need more than ourselves to feel alive. I enjoy that zoo (within reason)

This could be a commentary from either side of the cage. (I'm guessing the spectators)
