Friday afternoon Zoo (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
Every friday we gather,
like chipmunks we chatter
we honk like geese, rattle
like snake tails
and bleat like sheep.
Why do we not hunker
in our nests like
little birds do,
and flow easy
like the harvest wheat.
