One Day (Free verse) by Samantha
As the morning dew fades, the trees begin to shade. questions race throughout my brain. Please give, a logic explanation of all this pain. All alone in this gigantic universe, i am just a spec of dust, theres nothing to verse When no one understands the voice i scream out. loud as i could, then i saw they cant even hear my shout A rock sits all alone, with the world moving around far far away, i wish i were not to be found. One day is like a million years filled with as many tears. The baby tries to speak, but only mummbles appears yet, everyone rejoices with their first smile. Not being acknowledged begins to pile my life away, being pushed aside No one ever cares, when im not okay. Their face turns down, then a smile shows no questions asked, you know they lied its not what it seems, when you judge a face joyous, gentil assumed, but reality is nowhere close to grace. Life; people, choices, is whats thrown at A universe, one fish in the ocean, not one will make a worldly out come, but none! The trees are now, not used for shade, the moon lights the sky, untill the next time at noon. People only recieve one life to give either make it worth while or just go and live one life, dont let it go to waste.

Up the ladder: A Metahaiku
Down the ladder: Purest truth
