Nor pray for an angel sent from above
For angels take no certain form
So I'll take you in my arms
To keep you safe and warm. . . .
All of the pain in you
Will fade away and awaken you
If only you'll let me in
And I'll take you in my arms
So that you'll never weep again. . . .
Please know that I'll love you for all time
For loving a person is not a crime
I only dream of you at home
That I'll take you in my arms
So never again will you be alone. . . .
And if I were to hurt you
You must know I'd never, ever mean to
For the thought alone would destroy my soul

This is a real touching poem. I really like it. It remids me of something my boyfriend writes to me now and then. I loved it.
