Angel (Free verse) by Butterfly1120
She to me is an angel. One sent from up above. Here to give, and not recieve, someone with so much love. The one I can rely on, until the very end. No matter what happens in life, shes always there to be a friend. Picking up the pieces, of my broken heart. Being there to comfort, when my world just falls apart. I wouldn't change a thing, there could never be another. God sent me an angel, I just call her Mother.

Change the last line to this:

"God sent me an angel, I just call her Motherfucker"

Such an amendment would serve to lend the poem one more layer of polytextual poignality.
