My Time (Free verse) by J.B. Manning
Complex thoughts Day by day Spreading cancers Through my mind Like a tumor Coagulating inside the Blue green flesh of My inward being And threaten to devour me The omnipresence of This evil thing Is frankly fucking sickening But still I feel Stronger Now Then ever And I think this Thing is fading Into gray Like my rotten Frontal Lobe So I count The days gone by One or two At a time And smile with A smile so fine And want for more Some other time But for now The day is mine

Up the ladder: lullaby
Down the ladder: when do dreams fade?

Hey, I know we've had our disagreements in the past, but I really liked this poem.

What's this? Can it be true?! I'm honored.

cancers are not like a tumour they are a tumour if they are in the brain.
