does anyone have sleeping pills for me? (Free verse) by FreeFormFixation
it's been seven years, so now tonight when it hurts it's like being stabbed with a ghostly knife, pierced but never really harmed anymore. the same knife that's been stabbing me in the side every once in awhile since you died. the same fucking knife trying to rip me into strips tonight. especially tonight. and if i started to die, would they break open my ribs and massage my heart until i regained some miniscule trickle of vitality? luckily we didnt wish for you the same fate. you just died away died died died. seven years now. luckily this day is almost through. i cant deal with the hostility much longer.

Hmm, well, I think you could probably spend some time rolling this over in your mind to come up with a more creative way of expressing what you feel. The language is just very dry. I get what your saying, and you speak it clearly, but maybe that's your angle.
