Broken Mirror (Free verse) by Artemis745
Wandering through this world, A confusing, frightening place, Where nothing I do seems right, And my wrongs are never corrected. I wander without knowing, Without a clue to what should happen, Making choices without knowing, Fearing what will happen. Is what I'm doing right? Or will my world shatter, Like a mirror dropped on the floor? Pieces tearing at my heart, Scarring portions of my life. What will become of the decisions I make? What will become of me?

Down the ladder: When

Young people are trapped in an endless cycle of rhetorical questions. Bummer. And, seven years bad luck. Look what it has done to the Cubs and all because of a curse put on the team by a tavern owner who could not bring his goat to a World Series game. Now there is something to think about next time you pick up the pencil.

Perhaps you will grow a long black arm. The Arm of Nigritude they will call it. -10-
