Blind Faith (Free verse) by NNirvana13666
Wanting to be one Channel my mind into the sun Rays of hope have washed over my body Leaving me empty Leaving hopeless When I speak do you listen? Do you mock my wishes? I visit where you are to be Only to leave feeling more empty Talk to me Embrace my want for the calling Allow me to understand With me it is a constant plead The son of life bleeds before me Wishing I could drink without the after taste of regret The alter burns my knees My mind wants to be free of uncertainty But never once did you speak to me You never allow me to feel Passages of subsistence reveal time’s sins Don’t ever forgive my sins Don’t ever patronize my free will Bask in your mighty power Leave my soul wandering For I will never repent

Up the ladder: the godself within
Down the ladder: men lie and girls buy it

Me neither. You and "electroman1979" might have a disagreement to talk about- see "Judgment Day".

you're right mulberry, i do disagree, the poem was good though
Well I guess you're a better man than me, to consider it good in spite of completely disagreeing with the subject, but then, I'm not a man, and I wouldn't have liked that poem even if it had spouted atheist rhetoric.
