Being the best is a must,
For the best never lust,
For the best, work, is a must.
Second best is never remembered,
Be the best, or nothing- Remember,
So work from September to September,
Battle, it brings results, the best- Remember.
Who ever cared for second or third,
Think of that, when speech is slurred,
Tough people fight, for the top,
When the best, you never stop.
Battle, fight, work and slog,
Winning is'nt necessarily, part of the job,
The best does not always, have to win,
Just be the best and fight, if so- Win.

Nice all round. The an in the first line peaks my curiousity a little but I've seen it before. I think you should have kept the repeat of 2nd and 4th line going til the end, but other than that a -8-. I see potential.
