Today I grabbed a cross made of paper and began a symbolic march With a pen stabbed in my right side and crown of irony digging into my brow With clothes pins they hung my burden to flap in the breeze Paperclips stabbed through my ankles and arms to pin me to place They told me take it back Stop speaking your mind and how you feel Nothings gonna happen if you do To which I replyed what would that prove So here I stand, a simple mockery A modern day martyr for watered down Ideas Staring you in the eye and laughing Is this the best you can do?
