Watercolor Afternoon (Free verse) by libby_28
Join me for an afternoon in the watercolor. Blue colors of the river will ease us: Sit in the painted boat, that is what I do. Take a load off your feet under the tree. You see, it is only as hard as we make it. You and me, are you having a good time? The white clouds in the blue sky The brush strokes of a ripple in the river, The majestic tree with sponge painted leaves- Let this scene relax you. Feel the fresh breeze on your back, The rock back-and-forth in the boat, The tingle sensations in your nose of smell- This is good isn’t it? What life is made of? Of course.

Up the ladder: Let's Not Forget
Down the ladder: opening time?

"The rocking back-and-forth of the boat" might flow better. "The tingling sensation in your nose of new smells" "This is good, isn’t it?" "What life is really made of."
