Next Century (Free verse) by Birdpia
I used to love you each day and night until I found the blue blue sky Your love was hung upon a shining star and it seemed so far I used to miss you at the sunbathed beach until I found the wide wide sea Your tears flowed along the tidal water and each wave was despair Now each second passes quickly, but who will notice? And in the next 20 years, who will make you remember that you left a guy alone one cold winter? And in the next 20 years, who will make you remember that you had a guy hold you one cold winter? And in the next century, who will write a love poem exactly like this to a lover left in a heavy rain?
