But now I have nothing left to give.
I'm leaving tonight--
hoping that you all will be alright.

But NEVER sorry that we ever met.
Maybe someday he'll find true love
Just know "sunshine" will be watching from above.
But that's alright, I'll be fine.
Even knowing that he was never really mine.

I'm sorry, but I just can't see through the sap. You can probably get a job with Hallmark, though. The sentiment is worthy of pursuit and I don't doubt that it comes from the heart. Just not my cup o' tea.
