walking (Free verse) by Dangzter
I was walking down the street when I stopped by a homeless man Who was begging for money and Was knelt on the floor with arms raised I asked him kindly "why do you need this money that you beg for?" And he replied kindly " for the roccs that lay on the ground and the dirt that is burried in the earth" Reluctantly I gave him the money that would feed the senseless addiction that america fostered in this modern era I walked away quitely and watched from the corner of my eye and saw the man buying roccs and dirt that layed on the earth sadly i regreted ever walking.
