The pretty girls (Free verse) by sunfloweronfire
To all the pretty girls With all their giddy twirls Their heady scents And posh accents Their pocketfuls of cash Their mascara masquerades False chest parades Clicking nails Painted toenails And Shorts as small as their brains And when they cavort past me With daddy's cashcards clung firmly My self-esteem smacks the floor As their egos soar When they steal a glance my way And have they a reason to look at me so smugly? Giggling at me with glee But ah contraire! No need to stare I know I'm ugly as muck But I'll sleep tonight, when it dawns on me that, At least I'm not a pretty f**k

Up the ladder: Thy Lovely Eyes
Down the ladder: Mary Mother

and you, unlike them, won't sleep with a billion assholes and wind up with an embarrassing disease or a kid. Also, you can likely look forward to growing older without monthly boobjobs and so many facelifts that you resemble a sphincter. here's a hint: water thrown to the face makes mascara run, blinding them and leaving you free to pop their inflato-falsies with a pin.
