Good Bye

We soared above the clouds and touched the stars. I saw heaven in her eyes. Every word she uttered I treasured. But the beauty I saw; She saw differently. "Too complicated," "Too hard," "Too emotional," she would say. The most beautifully simple thing in my life, was "too complicated" for hers. The easiest and carefree for me, "too hard" for her. The greatest feeling to me in all the world, was "too emotional" for her. I often ask myself why she left, but I wonder now why I never left myself. All I she ever gave me were lies deceit heartache disappointment tears pain Looking back... the best thing she ever said to me was not the "I love you," but instead the "Good Bye"

doesn't scan well. helps a bit to drop up to "Too complicated". or even to "The most beautifully". still reads roughly, though.
