All Fours (Free verse) by Christina
Is it alright to think like this am I being fair or is it a drummed-up tear? the cravings are coming and filling me up this void has to go, wait I say whoa. Is it right to let you know or am I just sinking low I'm afraid, afraid of myself and the compulsions out to play they play with my thoughts and jiggle my mind where has it gone this ability to see you've clouded my mind and stumpled my knee The distractions, the distractions I cause wait let me out of doors the pressure, the pressures immense. This flirtation, a flirtation with self its making me stumble and stressing the cause the lights, the tunnel and me on all fours.

Up the ladder: Talking...
Down the ladder: 5 minutes
