The Shedding (Lyric) by bluwiz
I wear a mask to hide my fear never letting anyone get near. I hide myself deep in my shell Should anyone try to get to know me well. For who would accept me unchanged? The repulsive creature that is me So now to an imagined self i am chained Destined to live a life that is falsely happy. I yearn to strip these alien clothes That weight as if it were the world. I yearn to be naked in all that is me to clear my reflection that has long been blurred.
