The consistency of frailty (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
I am the guerney
that wheels expectant mothers
to the delivery room,
and the frame under cloth
and plastic that protects the child.
And I am the crossbar that
changes the wheel and keeps
you on schedule.
And I am the structure that
holds persons high
and shields against the elements.
And I am the beam that spans
great widths and reaches lands.
And I am the vessel
of oversized hearts
and braun.
Bitter cold has made me brittle
and I am fearful
of myself.
Proverbs 27:17

What exactly, is the point of poetry?
As I have yet to find a point to anything.
