winter bloom (Free verse) by daniella
What solid white winter ice would know that tulips blossom up through snow? In specks of red and orange greens, the seed of promise can be seen. From endings come the faintest hope of new beginnings beyond the slope, where yesterday we had descended, once shattered, dreams rise up amended. Take heart in the foulness of the dark when shadows forge a light so stark. For He is passing with His hand to change the spirit across the land.
