Never Better

There are the friendships fated to last, And ones that dont make it past, The ones that we swore would be forever, Sometimes seem to last never, The ones that grow though time, Are the ones that end like a nursery rhyme, The friendships that are so complete, Are always thought of as a treat, The summer camp friendships are grand, But it was always us that could understand, The ones that last a lifetime, Are never broken by a crime, The trust that we share, And all of the care, We've put in so much, You've always been my crutch, Always my partner in crime, We've stood the test of time, After all we've been through, Its still me and you, What we have is so complete, Others can never compete, The memories we share, Are all beyond compare, They set us apart, And are the best work of art, Here's a the friendship that passed the test, And will always be the best, A summer camp friendship never held a candle too, What I know is between me and you.
