Promise of Resurgence (Lyric) by marvelis
Considered smartest of all is Albert Einstein. Yet in high school he gave no intellectual sign. George Bush barely got through high school, And yet today the American nation he does rule. You ask me how many times I have failed; How many times so far I have been derailed. I ask you, how many times I will succeed. My promise you should most certainly heed. I have been given the greatest destiny. In the end, leave you with a hell of a legacy. I will rattle and rock this very land. Snatch history right from your hand. Alone I will stand upon that mountain. Drink from that immortality fountain. This world works in strange ways indeed. The strong finisher it does beg and need. This world is not for the squeamish; It is only for those who can finish.

Up the ladder: Silent Voice
Down the ladder: Infedelity

You're trying to get across a good message, but I can't give you a good rating. The rhymes are just too forced. Rhymes aren't always terrible, but in this case, it distracts the reader from the meaning of the poem.
