Romans 8 (Free verse) by Freethinker1602
I was slippin so fast Couldn't grab hold of reality Lost sense of all direction No longer able to find hope Thought I'd given in Couldn't escape the void No one heard me scream No one saw my struggle I tried to believe I was ok Wouldn't have believed it I'm feeling out of control It doesn't hurt any more I just gave in so nothing could hide I saw my chance for redemption So I held on and never let go Life is too precious Laugh it off and revel in the glory the chaos now tolerable Passed the trouble now All I needed was to heed the good word Found by the light now I feel full again Have faith Spread the word

Up the ladder: power play
Down the ladder: Kites In My Sky

Just remember-there's always somebody who's got it worse. Could I put in a request for a happy poem? Not to worry, hee hee!
Anyways, I like the ending here-I'll give it an 8
Good morning everybody (unless you're over here in which case Good evening)
