The Song I Miss (Lyric) by Miggy
Thought life was going in the right direction, Crash, into a dead end Just merely needed some correction But mainly wanted just a friend Your name passed by like another fad Used to circle around my every thought Yet since this rotted bad The illusion of love was again caught (Chorus) Trapped in my memory Close to all eternity Yet nevertheless, nevertheless You're the song I miss Tried for the last time But never got the rhyme Yet nevertheless, nevertheless You're the song I miss The picture I had of us together Burned up in flames As you rained on my perfect weather I ran away in shame You filled me up with an empty finish Never thought why you were gone Now I only have one simple wish To see how this ended up wrong (Chorus) (Bridge) No longer by my side Don't care anymore As I jumped out of the ride And dropped down though the floor (Chorus x2)

One line sticks out as not fitting the song, I think:
disliked "Yet since this rotted bad"--Liked all the rest!
