For her he swam with sharks (Sonnet) by Shardik
I could not wait to see the Sea. To be broken by her swell. As she does this easily. With her salty rhythmic spell. In my mind I reminisce of playing on her shore. Sunny days of childhood bliss, and tide-pools to explore. But now I do not recognize. These waters I am in Nor the priest sent to baptize beneath his dark-white fin. "The sun bled well today" was all the Sea would say. I was led astray, now beneath her waves I stay.

Hidden meaning? I can't find it. Your vagueness needs to be balanced with hints. Too much vague and you aren't understood. Too many hints and it's no fun.

Hidden meaning? Vague? it's about getting use to life and change for the unsurprising surpise of dying inevitably. in other words, beauty holds death as well as death holds beauty, Nature reveals this point on every level. mix that with the fact that i'm a sun baby with a shark and wave fetish and vualla shark fin and femur soup. the water coupled by the babtism by blood and nature. Jesus walked on water. We don't.

Please don't say all that 'death is beautifull' crap. THe sad fact is death is a parting of friends, not some beautiful eternal rest. When did you see someone die you knew and say, 'Wow. How beautiful, my friend is dead'

What if someone who had a really ugly face died by having their face pulped by a giant face-pulper then the blood splattered against the wall in the exact shape of Van Gogh's Sunflowers? Would that not be beautiful?

been there done that. Baba yaga's epic St. Germain covers that. I think it was blasted off by hornets and sea urchins though, and there would be no blood sense it was inside the pulp not outside.

You must be mistaking my multi spectral sonnet here for some last minute annoyance your brain contrived in a rushed search to find an intelligent comment. This Sonnet is not about death at all. It's about acceptance and recognition mixed into an eternal meditation and awareness of environment. Don't be one dimensional here please it's bad for my cuticles. Thankyou.

one more (k) in your moniker and you could be a hemi-pene. what's a whole pene called? does the female get shot-peened? if he loses one, does he get peened off?

i'll stop now.

Have you ever seen a ufo plecostomus? or an emeral or gold nugget plecostomus? Did you know that bull sharks are notorious maneaters and freshwater sharks? Don't swim alone in Chilean lakes... Trust me.

Tell me, Are these Chilean finned beings cold, or warm blooded?

Cold, of course. The Chileans dispose of their dead sometimes wrapped in cloth dumped in the lake. the sharks (bull) have gotten use to the taste.

a ritual of some kind? freshwater bull sharks. interesting.
we've got northern pike. no match, though you need to use a steel leader to catch'em. and chain mail gloves. and shotgun.

... and a little nappy to put on the pike should any unpleasantness occur.
