Have You Ever Felt That? (Free verse) by NewbieMe Have you ever felt like you're dying?
Not living but dying, every god damn day?
When everyone tells you that it's gonna be alright
but it seems like it's not?
When you thought you can trust someone
but he just stabbed you at the back?
When you thought you can succeed in anything
but then you see yourself failing miserably?
When you thought you felt you were ok
but turned out that you're not?
When you thought noone knows you more than you do
but then you realise you haven't the slightest idea who you are?
And all of a sudden you just realise that you're dying,
not living but dying, every god damn day.
Have you ever felt that?

Yes I have. A Summer living pretty much alone on a college campus will do that to you. On the other hand when everyone comes back in the Fall you appreciate the company that much more.
