The way i met you, I think was fate, I needed someone not to hate, I danced with you, You made me happy, I talked to you, You made me laugh, I look at you, I smile, than remember I can't, The way I met you was fate, I wouldn't change, Not for anything, But it wasn't time, I wasn't ready, Because of one dumb descion, I went through a tearful time. But God knew I needed you, I knew it too, I'll remember you forever, Even if i don't hold you as my own, For quite that long. The way you held me close, And my fears, Worries, Complaints, And fears all fell away, I couldn't help but feel safe, Cuddled in his arms, The way we met was fate, Fate knows what its doing, God will know I need you when, The sunshine leaves my world, Than fate and will hold us close, And my fears will fall away.
