Dexpression (Free verse) by Roisin
Hazy muggy waterfalls Of blackening lava Trickle down the sides of my mind Constricting my thought flow Paralyzing my mind. In a crowded room Everyone is an assassin. Eyes seem a threat, Conversation stifling. My handshake Limp and clammy Reads me, Weakens me still. Smiles lie, The grimace behind each one weighs me down As I float towards indifference.

Up the ladder: sometimes its hard
Down the ladder: You are my Star!

Ye-es. Not sure what to make of this...maybe another read will do it justice.
