Condolences (Free verse) by Carvaceous
Desperately seeking for breath seeing shadows of aparitions in a stupor of pain Understanding the lonliness of time while slipping, Into the clutches of darkness. Wanting peace. Black and blue rotting inside and out. Leaving them, Leaving me, to search for answers not to be found no reasoning near. Wandering amidst uncertaintly with feeble footing Tears falling behind closed doors Flipping roles to carry new burdens Some too taxing others non-existent Drunken with a fever of sorrow stumbling on, gaining new insights in things not to be shared. Eyes all around heavy with sleep not to be gotten, red rimmed windows reminiscing of days long gone All the while surrounded by the clinging odor, sharp and piercing to the senses. Never to be forgotten, the suffocating smell, Pressing down wafting through this place. Permeating our minds with thoughts, memories, never to be forgotten.

Well....ummm...instead of jumping around this one seems to flow in every direction all at once, going around and nipping itself in the butt. good job though, it sends the feeling of sorrowful forgetfulness.
