Sonnet of a Child (Lyric) by kashewg
You say you've spoken with angels, have you? Please tell the tongue they sing in, worldy friend. I only play its beauty is this true And ugly sounds we live through can just end. You say you've seen the wind sail down, it's real? That God's breath freely floats into our lives And it is strong enough for us to feel I only hope the love we don't see thrives. You say you've smelled the sweetest scent of song. It only made it hurt more when you fear It's funny how we can't just get along, But if it were so, life would be too clear. So don't forget when we start that hot fire, That soon your dreams will live on so much higher.

Up the ladder: How my head feels
