Instinct (Free verse) by nentwined
Yellow tomcat lies with a siamese
Summer heat and pheromones
blinders
one track mind chugging train black
spewing clouds of ignorance
spores
drifting on a wind-less day
infectious on touch
a heady call of aroma
arousing
illusion
bodily pleasure
need to sate
and finished
yellow
tomcat climbs from
the unmoving siamese,
neither observant of flies or
other stages of death.
