Truth Without Truth (Free verse) by confuzdlilgirl
Though it wasn't allowed They still went together They knew others would never see That it could last forever He seemed so perfect She knew he would be fair She saw him as her prince Someone who was always there She was so sweet And gentle in her eyes She was so different from the others Something at once he realized They had to give it a chance To see if it could be They wanted to make it work No matter the fee Their nights were spent With each other by their side But the fact of what they were They knew they'd have to hide The feelings were hidden To the public scene They were nothing by friends Or so it seemed They would not let go Nor say goodbye Not without knowing Not without a try.

I don't like the poem all that much, it reminds me of what I used to write when I just started writing, not specific enough or anything.

but you rhyme scheme is so perfect, I'd say you have promise
