He Told Me Once (Free verse) by anitawit
He told me once Your tears, like stormy waters gone berserk Ransack my heart Be they gently flowing or violent, they Tear me apart Since then, I have contrived In gross and subtle way By tears shed and unshed Torture, every day.

Up the ladder: O' Girl!
Down the ladder: Charlie
