draft (Free verse) by daniella
scratch, scratch, tickle it wring it up into a knot, prick it so that it will stick. ease the ooze by this i mean, what else to do with the slew of it? just a moment here, dot the darkest, do you fear your getting off the mark, then hit the low note and sound off in pain, rub it out and start again. bite it, chew it, spit and swallow or wad it up into a ball. toss it with last night's potatoes mash it up against the wall. i can't rank you any higher for the way your wear those clothes. too loose, too soon, not any dryer. what's that all about? just spouting off at the mouth.

Oh, I like this. This is how I often feel about words, I feel like I want to punish the actual words themselves as if they had some punishable sentience.
